House of Hope Laurel Highlands, a nondenominational Christian counseling center, officially opened its doors at a dedication and open house Thursday morning at its facility on Route 985 in Jenner Township.
Other counties look to Barrow trauma service
As Barrow County celebrates the fifth anniversary of its trauma counseling program called Children After the Fire, other Georgia counties are planning to launch similar programs by the end of this year.
